Andrea's Bio:

Andrea has worked in radio and television for the past 18 years.She was born and raised in New Mexico. She received academic and theater scholarships at UNM. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Theater.

When she is not on the radio you may catch her acting in community theater or on local television commercials.She has appeared in numerous plays including "Barefoot in the Park," "The Taming of the Shrew" and "Tony and Tina's Wedding."Her love of theater brought her to the love of her life.She met her husband during the show "Tony and Tina's Wedding."Andrea played the bride and her husband played a photographer at the "wedding."

Andrea has lent her voice to many television and radio commercials and even a book on tape.She has worked as a television reporter, a radio producer, and a special events coordinator at Sandia Casino.She may have even called your winning lottery numbers on KRQE.She was the New Mexico lottery host for two years on Channel 13. Andrea hosted the Pop Girl's Guide to Life with daily lifestyle, beauty and health tips on 93.3 Kobfm. Her hobbies include acting, writing, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her favorite past time is shopping; like any smart "Pop Girl."

Her hobbies include acting, writing, working out and traveling. Andrea has a little boy named Jeffrey and if you ask him he will tell you he is mommy's "sunshine"(ain't that the truth). Andrea feels so blessed she also has a daughter named Lauren who reminds her to laugh each day and live to the fullest.

Blessing Art Tiles in Albuquerque, the Magazine this summer!

I was very proud to have my tile designs appear in the magazine this summer--thanks to Andrea Bongiorno, the shopping editor, for finding my work and contacting me!

They included one of my handpainted tiles--which I'm not able to do right now, being separated from the kiln...but there are close to 500 images now in my Dog and Catalog :)

Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew" is lovingly and intelligently presented on the stage of the Adobe Theater. Special accolades go to Paulette Doyle who designed and constructed the sumptuous period costumes.

She and set designer Deborah L. Carlson create an inviting Padua where the lovers and suitors sort themselves out.

The story is well-known. Baptista Minola (John E. DuBois) has two daughters, the feisty Katharina and her simpering younger sister Bianca (Andrea Bongiorno). Baptista will not auction Bianca off to the highest bidding suitor until a husband is found for Kate.
